Camp Information

Our All-Skills Volleyball Camps provide five days of quality instruction and guided team play.
-
Our camps are for participants entering 7th-12 grade.
-
Players will engage with other campers of similar skill and ability improving all-skills, team strategies and tactics to be successful in the sport.

All camp sessions are lead by Ed Jackson, Director of Nor-Cal Volleyball Academy and each court is supervised by current assistant coaches, student-athletes, and former alumni of Butte College.
All-Skills Camps Information
Session 1 - July 14-18, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Session 2 - July 21-25, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Ages: All genders entering 7th -12th grade
Cost: $200

* Friday, campers will be placed on teams and will participate in a themed round robin tournament showcasing the skills learned.

Camps and Clinics are located at Cowan Gymnasium at Butte College.
Camps and Clinic Staff

Ed Jackson is the director and head coach of the All-Skills Camps at Butte College.

Currently Coach Jackson is the Head Indoor and Beach Volleyball Coach with the Roadrunners at Butte.
-
Prior to being named Head Coach in July of 2024, Ed was and assistant indoor and head beach volleyball coach at Sacramento State for 9 seasons.

Throughout his 23 seasons in intercollegiate athletics, Coach Jackson directed and coached volleyball camps at UC Santa Barbara, The College of William and Mary, Fresno State and Sacramento State while members of each of those volleyball coaching staffs.

Coach Jackson will lead and provide on-court instruction at all camps and clinics with members of the Butte College coaching staff, along with current and former Roadrunners leading daily activities and game play.

Nor-Cal VB Academy was created by Ed Jackson.

100% of the proceeds generated are used to provide equipment, apparel, food, lodging, and growth opportunities for student-athletes of the Butte College Volleyball team.

We are committed to providing quality instructional camps and clinics at Butte College and offer satellite camps and clinics at middle or high schools and community recreational programs.

Our goal is to provide an enriching and challenging experience, utilizing trending instructional strategies, inspiring volleyball enthusiasts.
